Brenda, your images make me homesick for Michigan. It's been years since I crossed the bridge or visited lighthouses. Growing up in metro Detroit where one city blends into another without you knowing it makes me sometimes wonder how many people in Michigan are actually aware of the beauty the state offers. I do visit family and friends from time to time but I haven't lived there since 1991. Despite Detroit proper, Michigan is still the winter water wonderland state!

Thanks for the memories!

I am so glad! Having grown up here, I have admittedly not always seen the beauty. Taking photographs helps open my eyes. Just the other day I picked up a "Time Life" book at the library to just look at different types of photos so I could study them. Two shots were of lighthouses within driving distance of me. Makes me appreciate the scenery all the more!

If you have the YN622C trigger which can work with HSS, try the Yongnuo 568EX flash. it'll work with HSS too.

with 568 though, there's nothing to hook up battery packs.

Vinz have you tried the multiple exposure mode on your 5d yet to blend multiple images together... it work really well on star trails.
