Hey guys,
i've got a question about the 6D's wifi function if you don't mind.
Do you need an internet connection on your phone for it to work? (the remote shooting)
Or can you also use it when your phone is not connected to a different wifi connection or 3g?

No, you don't need an internet connection. The 6D creates its own WiFi hotspot. You have to connect your smartphone/tablet to the hotspot of the 6D.

Yep, I use a WiFi only Samsung Tab2 10" with my 6D works very well indeed, have had it working with my HTC mobile phone as well.


Sometimes I take good photos other times !!!!

Went to the Flower Conservatory in Golden Gate park. If you live in or visit San Francisco it is a great place for flower photos. Here are a few from this morning.
