I was just wondering which lens you use for doing shoots with children (on the move age!)
I have my 50mm 1.4 which I absolutely love but would like a zoom lens.
I like doing location shoots so a zoom would be good, any recommendations?
Thanks!

It would allow you to be further from the children so you get more natural shots. I'm still saving up for that one http://www.flickr.com/photos/pixidance/

But I try to regularly swop lenses just for variety's sake, otherwise the first 10K shots will all look just like the next 10K shots. I will play with ultra-wides for the distortion, fast primes for the extreme bokeh, tele for compression. Flickr

They don't stop for more than a second, so a zoom is very helpful for me. I think want to use primes every now and then, but I know I will miss some shots with them.
