Set one of your Custom settings (C1, etc) to use the normal setup (AF on shutter); that way you can just switch to C1 to use the remote and back to anything else to go about things normally.

You smart! bw!

FYI: App has been updated to 1.2 offering native iPad support and full screen in iPhone 5. Some new developments are in the works to do autoexposure during bulb-ramped timelapse, as well as feedback from the Flash Sync port for those who need the accuracy.

The reason that there is no Android version yet is that Google hasn't made the Bluetooth 4.0 API available. There are some ways to do it for specific phones and rooted phones. Later on today, we will be releasing the Shutterbug Code on our website in the hopes that others will develop some more apps for it (including Android workarounds.)

As long as you can find a shutter release cable for your camera with a CL plug on one end (2.5mm stereo) than it will work. We only sell cables for some of the more popular Nikon and Canon SLR's on our site, but look around on Amazon and you'll find plenty of options.

Our Android app is now available! Google Play Shutterbug App (external link)

We've been running it on the new Nexus 7 and it works great. We'll be testing it on more devices as they become available. Be sure to download the app and test it on your phone or tablet first.

Also, there are only two days left to get a Shutterbug at discount using our Crowdit Campaign. Check it out here: Shutterbug Crowdit Campaign (external link)
