Ive been having a blast on mine. I ride with a guy who has a 660 raptor. Its fun but not nearly as cozy as mine.
I see nikon has added some interesting lenses to the fold since I last shot.

Woo. Firmware updating time. I have to shoot some stuff for work on Friday, so I'll see if the AF-C seems any different.

Nice shots, last one sure is a killer! :)

Thanks. Lol I posted some on fred miranda and one of the mods said something to the effect of "nice pic but the center is too blown out"... I don't understand people sometimes lol...like uhh..k.

Here's a not so interesting shot, an oystercatcher at the beach. Was right before sunset. I like these guys for some reason, they seem to have such an expression on their head with the way their eyes watch you. W/sig 120-300 and the 1.4x (sigma tc).

Yes they did. Check out the new 28 1.8, 50 1.8, and 85 1.8 lenses. Not bad for the value. :)

Anyone here check out the new 18-35 yet?

I'm curious how good it is. I'm not terribly enamored with the ultra wide angle choices available for Nikon full frame, and that one seems to be reasonably priced (I realize it'd be starting off at the equivalent of 11mm on the 7D, but that's probably wide enough for my needs).

Julian, 18-35G seems like a great Travel lens for a D600!

I haven't checked out the specs but, this might be a good option.

Only $750 bucks dude!! Not like the overpriced 16-35/24-70!

The only concern I have is how well it controls flare and CA. That's not a bad price.
