I like them both!
I am partial to the Trumpetfish though, they are really nice shots, people don't realize just how hard it is to do underwater photography.
Like you, I am pretty certain it is a Trumpetfish, I am not an expert though, but to be extra sure, I did a Google search too.
You say that you probably took this at night, if you did, why is the light coming from above? Not that it couldn't happen, I'm only curious... 
The one and only Trumpetfish that I saw was off of Belize, about 30 miles from shore, and about 120' down. It was hiding in some black coral, and if you weren't looking, you'd not have seen it, it looked like a branch. 
The last time I took any dive shots was with my 35mm a long time ago! Things have changed so much, I am envious of y'all that dive with digitals.
