Yup LR supports the 6D and it is an awesome combination. What little noise you get at high ISO is eliminated with very little IQ degradation. I consider LR as important as good glass anymore.

Continuing from before:
Here’s a shot taken at 24mm.

Next family exercise was the tram ride - Never going to do that again!
It was a bit hard trying to care for an expensive camera around your neck, let alone take a decent picture inside a crowded tram.
Anyway, here’s some portraits:

^You should also look into AF confirm chips. All of my M42 mount adapters have focus confirmation and it makes manual focusing just as quick and accurate as AF imo. Lately I've been using nothing but vintage glass and loving it ;)

Yes! I've noticed your Yashica pictures lately and they are very good. I used to have a Yashica 50mm 1.9 and loved using it on my t2i until I sold it along with the Yashica body.

One thing that I LOVE about using old Yashica lenses is that the c/y to eos adapter doesn't have an element of glass and still focuses to infinity. I have an FD to EOS and it's pure garbage; especially on a FF camera (creates a really nasty blurry vignette and ghosting on my primes).

Another perk I liked about the Yashica 50mm 1.9 I had was the circular bokeh.

^Thank you! I just adapted another Yashica lens today too, 28mm 2.8 ML. For this one I had to use a different adapter though since my other is an M42 mount and this one is C/Y and unfortunately this adapters chip is making my metering go wonky... the lights in the OVF flash really bright like morse code... might have to pull of the chip and do it with my naked eye.

Anyway, here's an SOOC test shot :)

^Wow nice. Pretty good for 1/40 shutter. I'd like to see how that 28mm handles full body portraits at 2.8!

First shot with my new 6D. The camera seems sharper than my 7D, but I HATE the fact that I cannot use my CS5:cry::mad: Adobe Camera Raw with this camera..and I'm NOT paying $700+ for Adobe CS6. (Evidently there's no upgrade available.)

Adobe sucks! BANDITS!

You can use Adobe DNG Converter to convert your RAW files into DNG files which are also readable by Adobe Camera RAW (should work with Photoshop CS5). You can download Adobe DNG Converter for free *here (external link)* (see downloads section at the bottom of the page).

@EverydayGetaway and @jonrmoore:

I think you guys should get a Canon Eg-S focusing screen if you're experimenting with these fast, manual focus, lenses all the time. :)

Any of you that have one will know a little Jack Russell can really scoot and my jr Piper was flying around the hay field running laps around my setter when I took these.
