I got the 6D kit a week ago, I'm still figuring everything out. I haven't had much time because my professors seem to think I don't have enough homework...

But anyway, these files are absolutely amazing. I can push a RAW 4 stops in LR4 and still have it useable (in my opinion). The level of detail is absolutely mind blowing. I'll be posting pictures in this thread once I get some good stuff.

Nice! Could you share your experience with shooting this raven with both the 6d and 1DX?

If you took a look at his Flickr you would see awesome shots taken with his 7d. Some people can take a great photograph with whatever kit they own and Gabe is one of them. Fortunately too, he is very generous in sharing his techniques. He's an inspiration to those birders who can't afford a 1D4/500 F4 combo.

Some people asked me to test the 6D at sports, I just did a local game for a paper, 100 shots i was happy with 50% of them, sometimes in a sequence of 5 pics the focus would miss on 1 of them, partly the 6D also partially the Sigma 120-400 I used, it was also ver bright sun. Here is the set http://www.flickr.com …6/sets/72157633173890693/ (external link)

I also plan to use the 6D later at a National RFU Rugby game.

Hi People, Since I got the 6D I've put my 70-300 'L' on it and the two have been almost inseparable.
There's a flight in shot in this set but I would rather leave that to my 7D. They're both sensational cameras but they do have their own distinctive roles.

EXIF data is intact on all images. I've seen some sensational shots in this gallery. My first time here.

A few test shots from my "new" lenses. It's amazing what $50 can get you these days! :)
