How well does it work?

It works well for what it does, mine came in black.... I think the black is the initial color that is also consider the special addition for pre orders and kickstarters.

Also I ran into an issue with mine as have a lot of people. It seems that when you turn it on it'll go through it's 8 second calibration run and after that it'll run and run and run. You have to disconnect it and try and run it a bunch of times to get past this. I find that this issue happens a lot when you turn the unit off in the middle of a time lapse. I also think that maybe this was in part due to the volume on my iphone 5, it seems that in the information is passed to the unit in some form of sound wave code and it worked better when I used my tablet. I'm not 100% sure if I've figured out the issue or how to not run into this problem all the time. I'm going to shoot with it tonight

When you hook it up and end the info the to the time lapse gear you pull the jack out which starts the event.

Please keep us posted on your overall impression of the Radian. Would love to hear more details or pics or videos.

And on their site their "forum" has some FAQ and issues such as the starting the last timelapse as programmed...

I took it out last night, I'm still a bit of a noob with time lapse but ill post the 13s of footage I got. The one issue I ran into..... It's better to have presets or more then one device to trigger if you are using the pan and tilt combo. When you pull the jack out you have to quick program the other as the first unit will start right away. If you have two devices to start it you can at least keep one on hold while you program the other and then pull them both out at the same time.

This was set to like 180 degree pan and a 15 degree tilt or something like that, all manual and I for some reason I think my kid got to my 5d as it was on Jpeg and I didn't look.....

Mine came in the mail... with the wrong camera cable...yay.

Update: Emailed Kris on Kickstarter - got back to me in 5 minutes (I like that kind of service) saying he will send me the right one asap with quicker mail service.

So here is something that I found I don't like... Now granted it was in some what bad conditions... It seems that wind effects it greatly and because of that I had some jerky frames I had to go through so I could delete those files.
