Here are a couple from my 8 month old lab and her first time swimming. I just got a G15 last week to complement my 7D. Nice camera.

^ Yeah, I'm loving the macro capabilities and am using it for pets, too.

That stitch pops out nicely. I've never switched to the macro setting. That's why I like this thing; I don't need to switch to "macro mode."

Rented a G15 to take to P!nks concert back in Feb. Great camera and easily could've handled iso 400 most of the time, but I goofed it up and had most on iso 800-1600 :(

Oh well, I learned a lesson and used LR4 to help reduce the noise. I think they turned out pretty good.

This was a shot in the backyard to checkout the Macro feature on my new G15. Hand held ( pinky resting on garden boarder) in Auto mode. I then cropped the image to this selection. I was very surprised at the quality of this camera. I am now looking for info on what type of tripod to get. Clicking on the image will take you to the original file.
Constructive criticism is allways welcome...
