Great shots Dennis. These would make nice framed prints for an office space or something. NYC must be a great city to live in for photography.

Thanks. yes so far i've had 2 people ask for prints so we shall see how that goes. I love every bit of living in New York. Theres just so much to capture here.

Would love to hear more about the prints. I haven't printed anything large yet but i've been more and more interested in what people are doing. Canvas, paper, metal, framed, unframed etc. There are so many choices and styles to choose from.

Nice adds guys! Rick, I'm interested in hearing what you think and seeing some shots. Kind of surprised you didn't hold out a few months for the successor to possibly be announced with the AF in the new X100s. I'll be ordering my X100s soon and possibly selling the X-Pro 1 for the final switch to the D800e (flame suit on!) haha.

Here's two shots from the other night driving and some shots of prints I recently got in all shot with the X and the 35 1.4. Complete PITA to manual focus on stars btw. Also I don't have the fastest SD card but it took like 10 seconds to buffer a long exposure shot. It was brutal!

Chris, I purchased with the $300 rebate that was running in march, so it seemed like a good deal at the time.

Ironic how you are selling to move to the D800, and I am actually considering selling my Canon system to switch to Fuji. I can confidently make the transition when an X-Pro 2/X-E2 are are announced and out, as well as the pending release of the 10-24, 23 f1.4, and 56 f1.4.

The reason is because of the high ISO performance as well as the fuji lenses, sensors, and colors, all with amazing portability. Of I need a larger SLR camera with higher resolution, faster sync speeds, and to be more professional in general, I have the Hasselblad.

I think the Fuji X series matched with my Hasselblad H will cover anything that I need to shoot.

this is pretty much what I'm waiting for as well. I need an UWA for landscape and arch work. Then those are the two FL's I prefer for people shooting. If I sell my complete canon kit I can get every single lens they make and will make as well (I most likely won't but it's tempting). I'm considering downgrading to a 5Dii and a few primes though as I'm currently second shooting weddings with a friend and I think I might prefer a DSLR just for that, or maybe I should say he'd prefer the files to match what he's shooting. But I also want to ask him about me just using a fuji and his backups from his bag that'll be there anyway....

Personally though, for everything but the second shooting at weddings gig, I'm done with DSLRs. My ideal kit will be the X100s for family shooting then the XE2 and Xpro2 with the 10-25, 18-55, 23, 56, then probably the 18mm for making the XE2 kit tiny... But like I said I could just get one of everything once I sell my canon kit which is very tempting...

So far i'm loving the X-Pro1 but the only thing i'm finding to be a P.I.T.A at times is having to use both hands to change my autofocus points since its all the way on the bottom left side of the camera. And I wish there was a way to turn off half press shutter to focus and have some sort of back button focus like on my Mark III, but overall its a great camera that I need to adapt to.
