jack880. love the style and framing, wish there were some more details though.

8.5/10

edit: seems that hyogen posted just before I did. So here's his edit.

5/10

Colors look off, white balance is off, halo artifact around the tree from way too high of a contrast imho and the logo is distracting. Also for the street lamp, it would have been better to either clone that out or put the entire lamp in.

From a analytical standpoint there's not much I can say, nothing really wrong with it but the composition is very lacking. It would have been nice to see something more interesting than liquor on an end table. Because of this 5/10. Not meaning to bash, possibly take this same style and photograph something more interesting, then you'll have something.

really nice image. love the processing. really still and quiet, almost post-apocalyptic :)

I wonder what that smoke is coming from on the right. 8.5/10 --think it could be composed even stronger and could maybe use a clear subject.

didn't have a wide angle in SF...it was torture. This is 7 shots from a 50mm stitched together

How much was this shot boosted in post? There's a lot of color noise on the roof of the buildings and also in the sky... I'm really surprised by that for a FF camera.

7/10 ... it's pretty interesting looking, but everything is so tiny and far away. Wish more of the far right figure was included, or just excluded.

....

Stopped by the local Harley business to see if anyone was game to get a photo with their motorcycle.

Taken with my new Tokina 16-28mm and run through Photomatix ...

Great colors, and perfect time to shoot, and pleasant flare on sun. Horizon is off level. Might be a little too contrasty, or maybe too much shadow recovery. 7.5/10

Good effects on the motion. You must have been near f20, thus seeing the specs from the lens. You've used thirds, but my eye doesn't go to a center of interest. 5/10

I've been messing around with a new lens.

Not bad, could do with maybe a little more contrast and looks like it's got a bit of noise.
