white balance seems a bit off off as she appears somewhat orange.

Not in a mean way, but it reminds me of a photo that you would see at a funeral home viewing

It looks underexposed to me. I brought it into Lightroom and brought the exposure up +.80, and it looked better, to me. I also brought the saturation down on the orange channel and, once again, to me, it looked better. We don't know what she actually looked like though, and I have ran into this myself with women who's makeup looks a bit orange, especially when coupled with a tan.
