Found these difficult in the snow and poor light

PHOTOBUCKET EMBEDDING IS DISABLED BY THIS MEMBER.

You are so right, let alone the snow and light, they are almost Impossible to get close to. You did great!

A cracker David, exposure & detail are great, if it's not a FF shot I would give a bit more room at the bottom.

Great capture.. We have lots here. They tend to congregate by the sides of our country roads in the winter and I often see small flocks of them fly away as I drive by in the car.

But as others say, they are VERY difficult to get close to. I envy your shot :)
