haha, i broke mine b4 too, but can be fix without a problem, gota love the nifty :D

Its one of the most common if not the most common lens repairs I do, just finished one and packed it up, you need a fine phillips screwdriver and thats it. Oh and theres only afew reasons the af wont be working and most likely is the Golden fanned cog on the lower left of pic 1 has come off the motor head. its actually part of the sensor mechanism and tells the lens how much the motor is rotating. Its usually glued to the motor cog but it comes off and the sensor doesnt know what to do.
