Short artist profile shot with Blackmagic Cinema Camera

Hey guys -

Had a chance to do a few projects with the BMCC...insane piece of shooting equipment. I never want to shoot video on a DSLR ever again.

We just finished up this short documentary-esque video for a local artisan; really, really happy with the way it came out. The visual aesthetic would not have been possible shooting with a 5D or even an FS100 (both of which I own).

Seriously impressed with the camera. Can't imagine what the new Blackmagic 4K will be like.

Thanks guys. The story always comes first but man I am a believer in the camera. Raw video is liberating in a way I can't even begin to describe.

Thanks; after years of dealing with footage from DSLRs this was an amazing upgrade.

The detail captured in his face is absolutely incredible. Very nice production.
