Many thanks gang...

A short climb to the hill at Almirante Brown Antarctic Base, Paradise Bay was easy, and the view just breath taken.

After we went back to the Zodiac, we had another Zodiac cruise in the Paradise Bay.

Lots 'shy' Minke whales around blowing water, and some really nice seals such this one (5D3 + 28-300L @ 300mm, f/5.6):

But nothing can compare to a playful, friendly Humpback Whale -
who spent about 20 minutes with us and made sure EVERYONE had their clear, happy shot to take home! (5D3 + 28-300L @ 300mm, f/5.6):

^ Thanks...

Neko Harbour is a very popular landing spot, which also was our last landing on the Antarctica Continent.

x_tan you should put these amazing images together in a book, I know I'd buy at least two.

Thanks Jason & Christian,
This is more stress-free just posting some thread here than a book :)

Before the dinner time, our ship started to move to Rongé Island: dropping about 20 campers for overnight ice camping!

Ok, we did a "last minute cancellation" for the ice camping. Reasons were:
1. The tent was very small and just enough room for a single sleeping bag only; no enough romantic ;)
2. We didn't bring any active heating pad such as those for the Wetsuit; if we're getting cold during the night - we could only get even more colder!

After the campers settled down, our ship moved to open water (maybe 10km from Rongé Island) overnight.

This is really cool. I always have been interested to visit Antarctica as a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and your photographs just heighten that interest. If you don't mind, I'll ask you some questions on the trip/cruise in private. (",)

You are welcome, Jason.
Just send me Private Messages.

Just some more info regarding our flight to Ushuaia.
We used LAN between Buenos Aires and Ushuaia.
Economy class only flight, and close to 6 hours each way.
We were given some biscuit and soft drink during the flights.
So there might be a good idea to pack your own sandwich before on board.

Day Seven, 4th Day in Antarctica:
Morning Zodiac landing @ Cuverville Island;
Afternoon Zodiac cruising @ Wilhelmina Bay

By the time we were ready for our breakfast, the campers already came back to the ship from Rongé Island.

Anyway Cuverville Island is right NEXT to Rongé Island. So we headed to the beach for the landing after the breakfast (5D3 + 28-300mmL @ 300mm):

Some whale bones from the old whaling day, which are still looking the same as the good old day...
And the Gentoo are making those bones as their home (5D3 + 28-300L @ 85mm):
