This is a rare 62 Bel Air with a 61 roof. It also has a LSA motor swap from a Cadillac CTS-V, brakes from a 2012 Z06, and air ride suspension.

Good job on the body, but I'd rather not see the brighter pavement around the car, especially with double & triple shadows.

Beautiful car, excellent photography.

I prefer '62 Bel Air bubble backs...stock....with either a 327 or 409...4 speed.

But this is a very nice custom.

I agree.

The exterior and interior look beautiful but I believe you decreased the value of the car a bit by not keeping it stock. On that note, I'll bet she's a beaut to drive. :)

That's a six figure car. Not many stock sixty-twos will bring that price. To keep
within the forum nice photos.

Thanks, everyone.

The owner is hoping to get 6 figures next month at the Mecum auction. He knows the market and I bet he gets it.

You might be surprised...62's with the right options and provenance have got that and more.

But in the end....whether it's a well done custom like this or stock '62 with low miles, 409, provenance, etc....any car....custom, vintage.... is only worth what someone will pay for it....the current market.

Very nice shots, a black car is always a challenge, especially with chrome trim ... either the black is doesn't show any detail anymore of the chrome is blown out ... so very good work on these photos.

As for the custom work ... I have to be honest I would have no doubt buying this car just the way it is, I would even black out the windows too ... on the other hand, all stock I wouldn't give it a second thought ... I guess there is a market for both styles.

nicely done. Very clean car. I like the combination of natural and artificial lights too, great balance. I dont mind slight hot spots around the car, but like photosguy said, the double and triple shadows throw me one JUST a tad, but nothing too bad. I might go in and maybe blend in the ground in a separate layer to at least get rid of some of the hard edges in the shadows and give it a smoother transition, but I know, thats a lot of work and when you finish a set of pics its hard to go back and do excessive surgery like that :)

Yeah, I don't feel like re-editing the shadows on these. The owner was happy with them, so that's enough for me. I'll just keep the shadows in mind with the next set I edit. Thanks again, guys.
