^^^ 24-70 is not a good focal length for serious portraiture, you really need 85mm+ because of distortion. Your 70-200 would be a better lens for portraiture as you can get further away and flatten perspective. Nothing to do with IQ, it's just that you may need to get a little too close to the subject at 70mm and if you get in too close, you'll get facial distortion.

Yeah that i know already but I just wanted to see some examples. It proves to be a good lens for just about anything.

The 24-70 f/2.8 L MKII is the general workhorse, jack-of-all-trades and super sharp, (sharper than all of the 50mm primes) but given your reasoning and your existing gear, I think you'd be "happier in your mind" with the 85mm f/1.2 L MKII prime as that is designed specifically for portraiture. Focus is slower on that lens, but you have the additional control over DoF with the f/1.2 aperture. You have the glass to fill the gap at 24mm so leave the 24-70 alone and buy the 85mm ;-)a
