Hey all, I am in no way an admitted wedding photographer but they loved them. I want to know what you all think...

Great pics. Which lens did you use the most?

Focus looks a bit off on many of them, either that or they have been effected by compression or the effects you have applied.

1. Very distracting background.
2 & 3 are nice captures but I don't like the effect applied to them.
4 & 6 Looks like your taking a photo whilst someone else poses them, not keen on the Black and white conversion, looks a bit green.
5. Is nice but the white vignette isn't.
7- 11 Horizons cutting through heads should be avoided where possible, particularly when its a strong one like a deep blue sea and a light sky.

Overall there's some nice candid captures but your processing is a bit random and heavy handed for my taste. Watch your backgrounds when taking photos and try to avoid taking photos someone else is posing off to the side.

Thank you for the CC. I will keep this in mind. I did give them several versions of the above photos.

I used the EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM for pretty much all of them. It was a pretty gloomy day so I also used the Canon 600 EX flash.

Did you shoot in RAW or JPG?

The compression on these images has me concerned.

I shot in raw, but the hosting sight I am using kind of takes a crap on the quality. The originals look much better.

They are a beautiful couple and they look very happy.. but honestly, I can't say much about the photos. They feel snapshotty, flashy, no real thought of composition. Plus shots taken when they're clearly looking at someone else. The processing with a white vignette is no good as well. Sorry to come across so harsh but I can respect passion - I'd just work on your basics.

I am super cool n' stuff.

id have to agree, most just look like snapshots.. and the PP makes them look not that great... id go for black/white instead of green/yellow?

Not to crazy about desaturation look and popping just colours in flowers. Kinda cheesy. For weddings, i would suggest to keep it classic and timeless. Especially, you are in a blue beach somewhere, keep the blue in the ocean!!!

Spamming your website and blog url in virtually every post you make for no reason is a bit lame and likely to result in slappage from the moderators. Signatures are there for that purpose.
