I can't see how it would, honestly, unless they are some type of firmware updates... But if so, I will be all for buying this lens again.

Until there is a fix for that, I just can't get myself to buy it again. No matter how sharp/amazing it was, the shifting was unacceptable. Sadly.

Anyone think the lightroom lens profile for this lens is crap? If I have the profile enabled it just squashes my histogram, and really overdoes the vignetting, I turn the vignette correction right down to 0.
Anyone else have an opinion on it?

Yes I agree, the default profile doesn't seem to work very well. I usually just ignore it.

NoFitState wrote in post #15831805 (external link)
Version 4.4 of lightroom 4.4 included a profile specifically for the sigma 35.

He was aware of that, but it was that very profile that he had an issue with.

Great for birding, if the birds just don't care if you just walk up to them.

Hi guys,

I am in kind of a conundrum...

I love this image, but I can't decide whether or not to take the "STOP" sign out or leave it.

Thoughts?

Just listed mine... I love it but I need more reach for the candid stuff I like to do, I think I'm going to have to try and work an 85 1.2 trade. Bummer, though, this lens is sick, I just like the feel of it even...
