Beautiful landscapes guys, it seems really easy to pull detail out with all these NIK plug-ins but Silver Efex is the best at it IMHO. Been a little slow in here so here's a recent one from me.

we were visiting some friends in NC. My wife was outside getting our bags, while my son was standing at the screen door looking out. When I started processing it, I thought a dark, moodier look would give it the feeling of an abandonment and neglect.

f/4
ISO 100
1/320s shutter speed

shot with available light from the screen door. with very little fill from the white wall.

I added grain, adjusted shadows, contrast, and brightness in Silver Efex.

Abandoned??? Are you saying that this car and the shed behind it are just sitting there for the taking?

If it's abandoned, must not have been for too long--the tires look pretty well inflated.

Perhaps the original owner steals back from time to time (from beyond the grave?) and pumps up the tires...

One from a few day ago.
