The 24-105L is a fantastic lens. I can't wait to get it....again! Sold mine years ago. Loved it but on a crop it was replaced by my 17-55 IS 2.8. So I have that on my 60D and the 24-105L will be perfect on the 6D.

I was shooting today with my trusty 24-105 on the 6D and I was amazed at how wide it is after using it all these years on my crop bodies. Like having a new lens in the bag.

I think that the $2199 price was originally an error, that all the merchants finally figured out that the $2399 with discount, was the intended price.

Maybe. But these type of sudden drops happen every now and then. Look at the 70-300L. Twice now the price has dropped a few hundred $$ for just a day or two, then it's back to normal. Even the 5D MkII was available for under $1400 for a bit, now it's back up to $2k or higher. If you're lucky, you have the bucks and the need right when one of these deals comes along. Kudos to anyone who was able to grab a 6D at this price.

Yes! Helen was able to help me get price adjustment to Best Buy's $2199 pricing! Adorama really looks out for and takes care of its valued customers! Thank you Helen!

Not only did you and the rest of us (who purchased) saved $200 by calling, but we didn't have to pay sales tax (at Best Buy) either, which could be another $200. Mine is on the brown truck "out for delivery". :D

I get mine on Friday, can't wait to test it out and the 24-105. Now just need to sell my 60D and crop lenses to help offset the cost even more.

I'm keeping my 60D as a back up, but I did sell my 50D to help off set this new purchase.
