I was lucky enough to be in Las Vegas this weekend and conned the wifey into taking a "quick" road trip to Valley of Fire State Park. First off, this place is pretty otherworldly and I can guarantee you I'm taking the kiddos camping here. I was in awe of this place. Secondly, I was really pushing my time frame and unfortunately had only a few precious moments to look for spots to shoot. I'm pretty happy with how the few photos I took came out. Any feedback, positive or negative, as long as it's constructive is appreciated.

I figured I'd throw in this "side of the road" shot on the way to Vegas. The clouds were beautiful this weekend.

The place has good color, and I like the last photo. But I do tend to prefer b&w.

Nice shots! I haven't been able to get there yet. Those that I go to Vegas with are not "morning people" and don't have any real desire to go see a "bunch of rocks"... Guess I will have to go by myself.

It's my favorite as well. I'm a big fan of B&W. The wife was all bent out of shape that I pulled over to take it because we were running late. She's now glad that I did.

I go to Vegas once a year with the wife. She's a good sport about stuff like this. Now, she stay in the car reading, but she's still a good sport. Lol.
