My wife and I are looking to re-brand our business. We want our logo to reflect our creative lifestyle photography. We are more artistic in our approach than when we started. Be both feel that our original logo is doesn't reflect us anymore, its to cut and dry, too perfect looking. Last night we came up with a sample for a new logo, and thought we would run it by the forum what do you think?

Huge improvement and I'm with Todd --this one's my favorite. Great job!

I like that!

I will add an example of mine, it's my second attempt at a watermark/logo and is related to sports photography

I want it to say Bjørnli Foto
And i want a logo with a B, i like it clean, simple and professional looking, but i cannot afford anyone to make it for me since i hardly have any business (yet)
it will be used on my website, and on my business-cards(and the B will maybe used to watermark on photos)

I just started a website via smugmug, www.arobinsonphoto.com (external link) but I think I need to make a better logo. Anyone have any good ideas for a starting point or a good tutorial for making logos?

Get a degree in Graphic Design.

Sorry, I couldn't resist, but there is truth in that. You can't just read a tutorial on how to design a logo. :D

I'm not a Graphic Designer, but I have done a few logos for people on the forum, but I quit doing them.

If you don't have enough to pay for a logo to be designed, then you're not very serious about your business, especially one where your initial image is vital (whether in person or in collateral).

This was just sent to me. I was looking for a clean simple look and I am pleased with it. Looking forward to moving ahead with branding and marketing.

Okay, so it's been 3 years since I established my brand with Twilightscapes.

So, I've been looking at ways to refine and repurpose my logo for the next 5-10 years.

Here's what I came up with, let me know what you think, please!
