Got mine today. Thanks!

Not with this code though, right?

Pretty sure he means that the one he ordered arrived yesterday. I ordered mine on Sunday morning (code was still working then) and it arrived via the Free Super Saver shipping yesterday as well.

Mine will be here on Monday (I ordered it on Saturday night using that discount code). I paid $1929 for it. I am exciting because it's time to do a real test against with my 24L II and 50L to decide whether I should keep the primes or let them go...

Keep us posted on what you think. I was lusting after a 50L and decided on this instead.

While I probably would have done Free Super Saver Shipping as well, do you ever sit back and laugh at the fact that you just spent almost 2K on something and then pinching pennies on shipping?

Same here. They could, at least, provide us USPS Priority mail for $14-$16

I think the problem is that the USPS can take up to 30 days before they'll process an insurance claim for lost or stolen (or damaged ???) items . I think that's why many retailers are reluctant to ship high value items that way.

But yah, I love Priority Mail... 3 day delivery for less than other carriers charge and they've never lost any of my stuff and I ship out a lot with them.

I am hoping Adorama will do the same deal again. If I can't get it for this price, I will just order from B&H for $2049.99
