List of the Gear i used to own but no longer have (sold, stolen or lost in the universe):

Cameras:

Canon Bodies:
- Canon EOS 1D Classic (My only body used for a 3 months EuroTrip. Sold to raise funds to replace the stolen 5D MII, loved it, miss it)
- Canon EOS 1D Mark III (Sold it, great body)
- Canon EOS 5D Mark II (Stolen in Barcelona)

- Used but never owned Canon bodies: Canon EOS 10D (Always liked it), Canon 1Ds Mark I (1D bodies are just amazing), Canon 1Ds Mark II (idem as 1Ds Mark I and still a great performer), Canon EOS 5D (nice one IQ wise, never liked its ergonomics & feel), Canon EOS 30D (sorry my friend we never got along vey well), Canon EOS 1000D (used it briefly, light & small), Canon 1Ds Mark III (exceptional body, great IQ & ergonomics), Canon EOS 550D (used it a couple of months, impossible not to love it, IMO best camera quality-price for many years, still love it), Canon 7D (just tested it briefly, loved its ergonomics & construction)

Nikon Bodies:
- Nikon D70 (Great companion for many years, had to let it go when making brand change to Canon. Loved it)
- Nikon D200 (Sold it)
- Nikon D90 (Sold it on brand change, my favorite price-quality Nikon camera in 2009)
- Nikon D300s (Sold it. Bought only for 1 year specific job, really miss its ergonomics and fast ease of use)

- Used but never owned Nikon bodies: Nikon D100 (used for several months, never liked it), Nikon D80 (used for a couple of months, similar to D70), Nikon D7000 (just tested it, loved it), Nikon D700 (tested it briefly, felt identical to the D300s ergonomically, like it), Nikon D3s (just a little test, loved everything about it)

Pentax Bodies:
- Pentax Super Program (OMG i beat the hell out of this one and always kept on going and going, precious heavy old school metal camera)

Lenses:

Canon Lenses:
- Canon EF 16-35mm f/2.8L USM (Stolen in Barcelona, loved it)
- Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L USM (Bought as a replacement of my stolen 16-35, Sold it. f/4 wasn´t that useful for my type of photography)
- Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L USM (Sold it for the same reason as the 17-40mm)
- Canon EF 50 f/1.8II (Bang for the buck!, liked it but i was never convinced by the noisy AF and flimsy construction, though AF was lighting fast with 1D series)
- Canon EF 70-200mm f4L USM (Had 4 of them during the years, 2 had problems with the AF motor, sold them all, never really loved it)

- Used but never owned Canon lenses: Canon 14mm f2.8L USM(great lens, small but robust), Canon EF 20-35mm f/2.8L (nice one, old style AF type), Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 (ok to travel light, IQ not great), Canon 100mm f2.8L IS USM (superb lens, a pleasure to use), Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L USM (L class but not my favorite, i don´t love slow telephotos)

Sigma Lenses (for Canon): (i hate Sigma´s quality control & unreliability, hope this time they nail it with their new refreshed lens line Contemporary, Art and Sports)
- Sigma 12-24mm f/4.5-5.6 HSM (Wideee but AF failed after a couple of months)
- Sigma 15-30mm f/3.5-4.5 (Liked it, fast AF though i hated its high pitch noise and not so consistent, one of the few Sigma lenses that didn´t give me so many headaches)
- Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 EX DG HSM APO (AF was fast but too inconsistent and impossible to calibrate accurately, paint came off easily, hated it)
- Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 EX DG HSM (AF was way off, at 70mm was impossible to calibrate)
- Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 EX DG HSM Macro II (loyal workhorse for a while, AF was spot on but pretty slow and AF motor stopped working several times on cold winter weather)

- Used but never owned Sigma lenses for Canon: Sigma 150-500mm f/5-6.3 OS (Big, heavy, IMO for long telephotos better get primes or none),

Tamron Lenses (for Canon):
- Tamron 28-75mm f/2.8 XR Di LD SP (Another bang for the buck! if you can live with the noisy, not USM fast AF, IQ is excellent)

Nikon Lenses (sold in brand change to Canon):
- Nikon AF-s 17-55mm f/2.8G DX IF-ED (Great build and feel, liked it)
- Nikon AF-s 18-70mm f/3.5-4.5G DX IF-ED (Used it several months continuously 7 days a week for 10 to 16 hours each day more than 1000 photos each day, frequently under tropical rain, never failed though zoom barrel and AF motor after a couple of months of extreme heavy use were falling apart, price wise a nice quick & dirty all around workhorse)
- Nikon 28mm f/2.8 AF-D (had it not for much time, love the compactness and built of Nikon old version non-"pro" primes)
- Nikon 50mm f/1.4 AF (Loved it)
- Nikon 50mm f/1.4 AF D (Again, loved it way more than the Canon one. Construction feels extra solid and is so small & compact that is a pleasure to use it)
- Nikon 85mm f/1.8 AF (Almost the same as said with the Nikon 50mm f/1.4 AF D, loved it, though for this one i prefer the Canon because of the AF)
- Nikon 85mm f/1.8 AF D (idem)

- Used but never owned Nikon lenses: Nikon AF-s 17-35mm f/2.8 ID-IF (loved everything), Nikon 28-70mm f/2.8 AF-s (loved it a lot but notorious for having AF-s motor failures), Nikon 85mm f/1.4 D (impossible not to love this type of primes despite of the old type AF), Nikon AF-s 80-200mm f/2.8 ID-IF (same as the 28-70), Nikon AF-s 200-400mm VR f/4G IF-ED (just amazing, the exception to the rule of "buy just primes for long telephotos")

Sigma Lenses (for Nikon):
- Sigma 12-24mm f/4.5-5.6 HSM (internal flex cable cut by itself after a couple of months of light use)
- Sigma 17-35mm f/2.8-4 EX (great results with the D70, construction flimsy as hell, fast & noisy AF)
- Sigma 70-200mm f/2.8 EX HSM APO (AF issues & inconsistent as almost every Sigma i owned)

- Used but never owned Sigma lenses for Nikon: Sigma 30mm f/1.4 (nice lens for DX if you love 50mm f/1.4 in full frame)

Tamron Lenses (for Nikon):
- Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 XR Di LD SP If, old version no internal motor (Again a Tamron bang for the buck! loved it, small, light, great IQ, AF pretty fast in old version)
- Tamron 28-200mm XR DI LD IF (Compact, multipurpose, slow & noisy AF, not great IQ but good with low MP DSLRs, though my most used lens while hitch hiking the whole Patagonia for 3 months)
- Tamron 70-210mm f/2.8 AF LD SP If (old pretty unknown, nice, heavy, amazing build quality, slow noisy AF, nice IQ)

Tokina Lenses (for Nikon):
- Tokina 28-70mm f/2.6-2.8 AT-X PRO (great IQ, heavy and relatively slow & noisy AF and as well as all Tokina PRO series lenses spectacular build quality)

Manual Lenses:
- Samyang 18-28mm f/3.5-4.5 (loved it, sold it to a friend that uses it now with his 5D, great results)
- Samyang 28-70mm f/3.5-4.5 (did what was meant to do)
- Pentax 50mm f/2 (small, light and lovely)
- Vivitar 70-210mm f/3.5 Series 1 (nice one, old school workhorse)
- Kalimar 500mm f/8 (nice results with low MP count digital SLRs, not the same with today high MP models)

Nikon & Canon flashes:
- Nikon SB600 Speedlight (nice, small, intuitive, sold on brand change)
- Nikon SB800 Speedlight (loved it, just love Nikon speedlight way over Canon ones, sold on brand change)
- Nikon SB20 Speedlight (strange design for today standards, beated it to death, literally.... RIP)
- Canon 430EX & 430 EXII Speedlite (nice, hate user interface & controls)
- Canon 580EX & EXII Speedlite (nice, hate user interface & controls)
- Quantum Qflashes (all sort of models, just amazing... still have many)
- Sunpak 622 (lovely, powerful, had to let it go)

- Used but never owned flashes: Canon 600EX Speedlite (i´m sorry i still hate Canon flashes user interface & controls)

Studio Lights:
- Multiblitz Profilux Plus assorted powers (simply amazing! & nice looking, was tough to see them leave)
- Multiblitz Variolite 1800 (heavy, large beast, loved it, full power pop may blow away your wig, miss all of them)
- Multiblitz Varilux 1000s (workhorses)
- Mutliblitz Varilux 500
- Elinchrom Style 1200 [I tried to like them, power control was precise and intuitive but at the end of the day i just hated the construction feel, happily sold them]
- Elinchrom Style 600
- Bowens Quad 2400 powerpack [great, robust, constructed for hard work, trusty companion for a good while]

Lightmeters:
- Minolta Flashmeter V (loved it so much, sometimes kind of regret having traded it for the Sekonic L-358)
- Gossen Lunasix 3 (a classic, techincally i still own it but i never use it as it was tragically damaged by corrosive liquids)
