[QUOTE=Zerimar;15850577]Finally tested it out in the studio..

Great shot Rick. How do you manage the Raw color accuracy in studio? I found a very strong magenta push compared to the jpegs which were more accurate to actual colors.

I use capture one and shoot a frame with a gray card to get an accurate balance. Plus I know what the white balance if my stones should be, then adjust by eye if either of those fail.

As far as editing, I learnt from Pratik Naik who has workshops and offers lessons.

Gotta love the high ISO of the cameras.. 6400 is completely usable.

Here's one with the modeling light of a strobe.

Lovely image.

I finally have a break from school and I still been meaning to get out and use my X-E1 soon. Really loving all the images these camera produce over the 5D Mark II.

Here's a shot from last night for a high end latex designer (she's also the model). I'll have the full set up soon. I made the insanely stupid mistake of only taking one of my backdrop stands and grabbed a light stand thinking it was the other backdrop stand. To make matters worse, when I got home I realized I shot every single shot in s/fine. I about threw a fit. Guess I shouldn't let my friends tinker with my gear and I should double check my settings before I shoot. This is the one and only time this has happened since I began shooting 3 years ago. uhhh felt like such a noob.

I also went on a binge and ordered not only the x100s, but 3 filters and a 49-52mm step up ring to work with both cameras. It's backordered through BH for another few weeks but I'm still excited to have another 35mm in the family.
