Maureen, I LOVE this photo. May I ask what lens it was taken with? I'm guessing the 85 1.2? Great photo....and VERY CUTE subject
Just for clarification....all of your photos are great, but I was particularly referring to "Mr. Big Shot"

No way that is awesome and it shows their character. I personally like natural shots like this. I really like SnickleBritches photo, what a little doll he is.
I have twin grandboys who will turn 9 on my birthday and they are worse than that when I try to get photos so I usually let them goof around and play superheros in return for at least two "perfect" shots lol!

Thanks, Cathy. I love the horsing around shots but I also want a couple of decent ones as well.
Cool you share your birthday with 2 grandkids. My oldest Grandson, my oldest daughter and my youngest niece all share August 29th as a birthday.

LOL you made me laugh.....My nick on here is Queen Chatty....because my hubby always says I am his Queen and I am a chatter bug..have a keen sense of gab lol. So I just put the two together but my name is actually Sheri which if you have eyes like mine you would need glasses to see that in my avitar.
Lots of parties in August for you I see...fun fun!
My family has a lot of us sharing birthdays. The twins on my birthday, my other daughter shares her birthday with her son. My daughters father was born on his grandmothers birthday. So I guess it is a tradition lol!! The last grandson almost made his debut on my husbands birthday but got impatient and came four days early....yep he had to be different haha good maybe he broke the mold.
I have another trick for you to try that I use on the kids...I have a remote switch for the camera and I sit them down in a comfy chair in the studio and just engage them in conversation and when the right moment strikes I click the remote and they are not expecting it so I can get some really good shots that way to. It seems as soon as I bring the camera to my face it triggers them to act silly.

LOL!! I will remember that, Sheri but whenever I see Chatty, I think Cathy because I had that darn doll forever as a kid. :)

Yes, I have a remote control as well but they are on to me. I took this shot with the remote as Aaron stuck his face right in my lens and said, "Push it, Mima! Push it now!" LOL!
