That's false info though. We were tipped off to it around 1130AM.

What a surprise, Lucchino lied on radio

Uh-oh. What happened to it?

I knocked the filter holder off. Broke a corner, but I think it's still overwise usable. I haven't inspected it yet, though.

Taking photos with a fancy camera does not make me a photographer.

In fairness, for a 1:30 start and a ceremonial start closer to 1, having someone show up at 11:30 and ask to participate pretty much is right before the ceremony. It's not like they reached out to him ahead of time (from what I'm hearing at least).

He didn't just "show up" though. They knew he was coming before that. That's just when we figured it out.

Ahh the memories. I brought one of these (2000 sports) in 1972 I think it was. A mate had an MGB and I wanted one of those, but saw the 2000 sports for sale in a dealership and took it for a test drive. I brought it. It was lemon yellow. It used to beat the pants off of the MGB. My mate would run his MGB right out to top speed, I'd pull out and pass him and change into 5th gear when I got next to him hahaha. The only downside was the interior would fill up with water evey time we had rain heavier than a shower, the soft top roof seal was not that great. It was a fun car to own though.

anyone into HDR?

here's why i ask...i've been dabbling with photomatix, and i've hit a stumbling block (of course)...im such a noob with lightroom, i havent quite mastered the whole workflow process, so, in effect, im kind of in-efficient and disorganized.

but here goes...

when i take a picture, i insert the SD card into my 'puter, and "copy as DNG" into a subfolder for whatever set it is to be. from there however, how could i make edits to the pictures, and then send those pictures to a different program such as photomatix? say i import 3 bracketed photo's to lightroom...would the process look like this?

import into lightroom, make edits, export full quality, import into photomatix, save, import into lightroom for cataloging? that seems like a lot of steps...?

why im asking is because noise sucks, and so does photomatix's noise reduction. i'd rather use lightrooms noise reduction as a first step, then merge and tone map. any insight? i wish i could grasp lightroom beyond just doing basic editing stuff...when it comes to cataloging and organizing, im not very good at it...lol.

Jeremiah is a genius at HDR and his long night exposures. He is the guy to ask on this thread at least.

I don't know if any of you guys have ever done one, or would be interested in coming to hang out and meet up; but I will be doing a RAW Artists Showcase on June 23rd at Rumor (I believe).
