Ms. Keys pushed photogs back to soundboard, and since the 2nd song was scheduled as the 3rd on her setlist, it was a real short shoot. And I forgot a stool. She has the piano chops to just sit and mesmerize the crowd, and did just enough staging with the dancers to keep things interesting. The ladies right in front did everything they could to obscure the frame with waving hands, but I managed to duck or crop out for a few decent ones.

#2 is killer! I'd crop a little of the right side and you've got an incredible image.

Love the animated expression in #3, she is truly one of the most talented A performers in the business!

many thanks!

@dannequin
I think at some point I'll crop #2 a bit more to tighten on the center lights.

Really like number 2. The last 2 seem a little underexposed?

Are you even allowed to post these photos here? Ms. Keys' photographer release was very restrictive, limiting usage only to the publication the photographer was shooting for.

@noxcuses1, the release wasn't that bad. It says use of photos for approved publication, and "personal portfolio and/or website." Her publicity team at ID PR are really accommodating, and I didn't feel that the release was aimed at anything other than snapping a few "compromising" shots and selling to TMZ.
