amazing shot. I'm curious as to how people actually get these types of photos. Did you happen to be out in the country and just there, right place, right time to shoot a wild bird catching a rabbit or is it set up. If so, how?

That's what I'm talking about! Nice capture. Gorgeous. I keep trying to capture this kind of thing and it is hard. When I drove into the wildlife refuge yesterday I had not even reached the entrance and I see a hawk come down on a bird...by the time I grabbed the camera he was gone. Caught an osprey holding a fish but he was too far away for it to be a good picture...I stalked him for 20 minutes waiting for him to fly with it but he never did and a school bus came so I had to move.

Not easy...good job.

keep trying i saw a buzzard killing a pheasant yesterday had the camera 25feet away by the time i got the settings right gone
