I ordered a raincover for my Guru and Loca back in July 2012, and I am still waiting. They have recently confirmed that they still have my order.

I love the bags, but I really hope they get their stock issues worked out.

I am thinking about ordering the Navin. I am not sure I want to have another thing on back order.

That is odd, because I ordered a rain cover for my Guru in January 2013, and I got it a couple of weeks later. My order was shipped from the US warehouse. I suggest an angry chat with them.

Well that's sort of crazy. I assumed they did not have any at all.

I am going to guess that they are going to tell me that they want to ship the order complete.

But based on the lack of inventory, that's not really a good idea.

Just to add to this thread.

I went along to Focus On Imaging 2013 in the UK to see the Loka. Bought one there and then and tried it out the other day when going for a short walk in Wales. I have to say, initial thoughts are that this is a very comfortable bag although I only took half of my Camera gear.

So far so good..!

I have had 35lbs in the bag while traveling (wondering airports, etc...,not hiking) and it was very comfortable.

That's what their website says. If one item is out of stock of your entire order they will be on hold, unless you call them and ask them to send the items that are in stock.

Yes this is actually what they do. It is quite annoying. I had ordered my small rain cover along with a Tilopa, so they simply assumed I had made a mistake and put me down for a large rain cover (which was out of stock), which held up the whole order for about a week until I asked them what was going on at which point I told them I had indeed intended to order a small rain cover, and then they shipped the order shortly after.

Mine just arrived today. It's in a lovely cardboard box. I can't open it yet. I have to wait for my birthday, says my wife and kids. Only a couple days... but I'm going to go crazy in the meanwhile.

What do you suppose is at the heart of their stock issues? It seems really strange for a company to have most of their items out of stock for a good six months or more. Can it really take so long to get new stock of existing designs manufactured? I'm wondering if maybe they have cash flow problems. It's also strange that for a couple of months now their website has had a message in bold, bright red lettering asking customers to disregard a pricing error that makes the cart prices not match those stated on the website…why don't they just fix the problem?

What's going on over there?

I think their many revisions held up large scale manufacturing per se.

Maybe, but I asked them if their next batch of Satori backpacks would be any different from the last ones, and they said no. They're introducing a new blue color, but that's it.

Yes, but it must be a special hard to find blue. :-)

Nice pics on your site btw.
