The tracking capabilities of the 1Dx is much better, the shutter lag and fps is of course much better, that is also very important for birding I think. I like the controls and sturdy feel of the 1Dx better also, there is just something about the big houses. Well its down to spending $. While the 600mm II is going to happen, I have one more question abou the 5D3 and 1Dx. I am curious to see if the AF advantages have been slightly negated with the just released 5D3 firmware update.
