Ok, I have to ask: how do you take that shot without blowing out the sky? I'm guessing f/11 or so and a CPL but not a grad ND? Any time I try to put the sun in the frame, I blow out like a third of the image unless I underexpose to the point I lose shadow detail... It really annoys me that I can't get the hang of it.

Bailey Head at Deception Island in the Morning;
Half Moon Island in the afternoon.

By the morning, our ship already stop near Deception Island and ready for the landing (All 5D3 + 28-300L, @ 300mm):

There are lots fur seals at Deception Island, they are very noise and aggressive;
But penguins are not on fur seals' menu, lucky lucky...
