Ladies,

Thanks for taking a look at the blown out puppy pic. Levina, I truly appreciate your time in taking into Photoshop. You all are so great!

Brenda, I tried several recovery actions on the photo but I am afraid it is too far blown out. I can post what I did, tho.

Brilliant pics Penel - more likely to get insanely jealous than bored! Think my favourites ate the hares on the horizon and the solitary hare. Should we assume you are getting on very well with the new gear?

Brenda, sorry am unlikely to be much help with the pics but sure someone will be able to rescue something for you.

Maureen, cute "DAD" sequence, Stina lovely hummingbird and blinkeredfilly I like the moody feel of the stream with the welding glass, especially the first one.

A couple of hounds from yesterday

sadly I am an idiot and forgot to check and charge the battery before going out so only manage a few shots. But from that shot I am hopeful I will be able to see babies when they arrive.

yes love the new gear thank you. Great pics of the hounds, I love the one of your two looking round at you!!! Heron babies sound great, can't wait for that.

I agree with blinkeredfilly, I don't tire of your pictures Penel. Your quaility gives me something to work towards.
They are all wonderful, but these stood out to me.

Aw thanks  that's very kind of you to say so.

Penel, very good shots! I love that Partridge. And the hare shots are quite amazing. And no, we don't get bored. Post more!! :)

Thanks Levina, I thought of you when I saw that partridge shot :D

Nice to see so many pictures from everyone. I am working on an almost 4 year girl who was sooooo shy when we tried to do pictures. Oddly, I am very drawn to these 2 shots and they keep grabbing me.

Those are great, Penel. Love the smiley face and that last one is too funny! I was curious if you took your dogs, or had someone watch them for you.

Thanks - we always take them with us, we stay at the same place twice a year owned by friends of ours and it's very dog friendly. We stayed there with other friends and their dogs once too, so we had 8 dogs with us.

Hi Ladies,
I saw that onOne is having a half off for their Photo Suite 7 till tomorrow (for Nik users). Any one have any experience with this? Looks like you can use it as a stand alone, as well as with LR and PS.
I was thinking about it?

Also, a pic for the day. :D

Marueen,
That looks amazingly good for how blown out it was! Would you mind sending me the original? I so appreciate you taking the time to edit it. I'd love to know what you did. (Not that I ever blow out a pic, or anything ;))

Maureen - that girl is a cutie. Good job on those. I'm betting you captured her personality if not just her mood that day. ;)

Penelope - Wow! What a lot of critters! Having given a try at a few non-humans on my vacation, I realize that it is quite difficult

Stina - Nice flower/ladybug shot. It looks prickly and fuzzy at the same time. :)

Busy week; between babies, Little League and basic upkeep, I have little time for computer these days. I am headed off to Yosemite this weekend after I finish shooting Prom Pictures.

Loving all your photos, Ladies. Keep them coming. I am working on something for my daughter's fist Mother's Day. I wanted to do Tristan in the bowl of Fruit Loops but he keeps trying push himself out the back & tips over so I gave up. I shot him with a the bowl & cereal only today; still trying to decide if I like how it turned out.
