^ What a creative way of revealing it, hehe

I'm curious - did either of them know? Or did friends put together the box?

Neither knew, they had a sealed ultrasound envelope that they gave to the person who filled the balloons up. No one but a grocery store florist knew... It was awesome

After a while of not touching the camera finally got back into it and enjoyed it a heap. First shoot back with a friends newborn. My first attempt at a newborn, she didn't want to go to sleep for me but I need the practice. Our new one will be born in October and I cant wait for a new model :)

Not sure which one I like better though, still a heap of editing to do.

Why this one instead of the Canon 50/1.4 ? Just asking.Looking for a nice portrait low light lens for my setup (see sig). Any news on a new one coming in the art-series?

This is far superior in sharpness, bokeh and color IMHO. I am sure other forum members will concur. It's called SigmaLux for a reason! :)

The Canon 50mm is not even close.

How is qc now? Read some reviews and a lot of comments about af problems, but most reviews seem to be kinda old.

Well it's Sigma :)
Maybe the newer production pieces are better. I got a used one from this forum more than a year ago. I don't use it much, but I did see some missed shots recently due to focus. I would say get it from a authorized dealer and try different pieces until you find a good one.

The Sig has superior boker to the Canon, plus its a 77mm (same as all my other lenses). Wait until the Art version comes out...no idea when that will be though.

Still think I like B+W with this bubs, her darker hair and skin work better with it (parents are Greek)

Lots of practice required though...

^ Looks like a lot of noise reduction to me. Is that right?

Beautiful shots, though. I like B&W better, too.
