Hey guys,

Just wondering if someone could help me find a photo of a car taken with a 50@1.4 on a crop body. Just need to see how the bokeh plays out.

Cheers!

Obviously the OOF area will sharper simply because the car will have to be further away from the camera to occupy the same area of the frame, but without a direct A/B comparison I'm not sure you'll see a dramatic difference from a single image of a car shot at F1.4 on a crop body.

You can simulate this with a FF body simply shooting the car at the two different distances (which you would need to calculate for an accurate comparison) and cropping one image.

Relatively old thread, but I might as well share some examples. Not my photos, but a friend's... 50 f1.4 @ 1.4 on a 60D
