Have any of you found any limitations because of the af system? Do the 11 focus points work well?
I am considering selling my Nikon lenses and D7000 to purchase a 6 D because of the D600 problems with oil and dust spots.

lol, it could be my monitor as well. Or, it could be the flat lighting it was shot in. Either way, no worries

I'm not sure, they look OK to me though, but I appreciate the feedback! I didn't bump the saturation or contrast very much on any of them, so that could be it.

They work great for me, it really depends on what you're shooting though. How invested are you in your Nikon gear?

My friend just sold his D7000, lenses and flash and bought a 6D, he LOVES it. As far as the focus goes, I haven't had any problems. I was out in the backyard playing with my dog today and got these in AI Servo mode:

I guess it works for the shot, but it wasn't intentional ;)

No, I actually live in Bowie, MD right now, but I work in Silver Spring and I know the area pretty well, I love the hiking spots up around Frederick MD

That's what I thought. The reason I asked is because looking at your Flickr, I realized that I live roughly in the same area and like to go to some of the same places :-).

You'll have to bring along your girlfriend or your friend for me to recognize you - since I don't really know what you look like :-D.

jonrmoore, how do you nail the focus so well using a manual lens on a subject that is not standing completely still? Focusing screen, burst mode, or any other trick?

Have any of you bothered to install the v1.1.3 firmware?

It seems to have addressed a problem that nobody was having.
