Thanks! I was so glad I packed a camera bag to take to the hospital, made lots of great shots to remember our time there.

Congrats! I wish this lens existed when my daughter was born. I took mine with a Canon G2.

I like the original better. It's very nice, almost monochromatic.

Andrew,

I love the feel your photograph gives me.

On the more technical side, I like how everything is in focus... and your choice of shutter speed.

This is probably the only reason I would desire to upgrade to a full frame camera.... this lens and your results.

Well done. Thanks for the inspiration.

Thanks for the kind feedback Kim.

This was done just using the big sweet spot of the large image circle that this lens provides - no use of the tricks that this lens comes with - i.e. tilt of the focus plane ... just a very sharp lens. I would expect this would be done just as easy with a crop camera. The major advantage of a full frame is in high ISO noise performance and getting a shallower depth of field.

Man, Oh man... haven't use this lens in a while and I have to say, of all lens sample threads, this one (24TSE) has the most amazing work... from landscape, to subjects, to portraits, to events... etc.
