That is 1/500s (400mm/ISO 640). I quite like to see a little movement to show that the thing is alive...
Cool shot! It looks a lot better than most others at 1/500s. I think the crow had just decided on where it wanted to land.

I was a bit surprised to see that you used the 135mm prime for this shot.
Just installed the new 5D3 firmware upgrade. Tried out the f/8 AF using my 400mm f/5.6 lens plus 1.4xTCIII giving 560mm @ f/8. Impressed with the IQ but I notice AF speed is slower on my 5D3 with this combination than when used on my 1DmkIV. One of my first test shots:

Beautiful picture. 1D mk IV was known for being fast. For me, the focus speed is a lot better than the forever hunting auto focus with two pins taped on the extender Even manual focus worked better than that.
