Week 17, from a couple of nights ago. Had a hard time deciding between this and a couple others from this week, but in the end this is the one I'm most proud of.

Love those colors, Pete! The bright little goldfinch adds that wonderful extra pop to make it feel really "springtime." Almost enough to make me wish I had a yard to sit in and watch the birds sit on the birdbath. Almost. :D

Not a 'proper' effort this week, but personal circumstances (grandma's funeral), meant that it just wasn't possible to get the camera out. I pulled this one from a recent shoot.

Thank you very much Meg. Glad you enjoyed it. As youi know, photos do not do justice to most things. It was beautiful to see in person.

A couple more from me (as there is no limit) . Have been watching a eastern bluebird nest in the yard. Watching as the parents fly back and forth, back and forth feeding the young ones. Hoping ( more like praying) to get a shot of the young ones as they leave. Not to be however. They had flown the nest before I got home from work today. Sad. but as least, I know they will be back soon having their own young. I did get a shot late yesterday as one was checking out the outside world.

Started mine this week, having finished my 365 Day photo challenge last month, wanted something that meant less standing in the rain at 11pm.

So 5D3, + 24-105 + Hoya ND400X + Hoya ND32X = 166s exposure
