Apr 23, 2013 12:38 | #138 These are all from last Wednesday's chase in and around Lawton, Oklahoma. We were following a cell that we had been on for a while (lots of rotation/ funnels but nothing touched down that I saw, although I do believe it dropped something down at least momentarily.) We were driving up the 44 and my partner goes "hey, theres the Dom (Dominator)" and sure enough Reed Timmer and his crew pull up past us on the freeway. ![]() Dom ![]() ![]() Coincidently right as this was happening I look out of my window and see the TIV (Tornado intercept vehicle) and their entourage parked just off the highway, kind of cool to see both vehicles out in the field. I've seen the Dom before but it was a function and I had never seen the TIV. The Dominator is an impressive vehicle (I'm also a gearhead so I tend to be fascinated by stuff like that lol) and I imagine the TIV is equally impressive up close and personal. I wonder if the video editors on The Titanic ever went, "Sorry, I can't right now. I'm busy synching the Titanic..."

One is just a HUGE wall of hail and rain which I happened to get caught in 1 block from the house. And the second is my favorite also because it's like good meets evil.
