Welp, I have funds ready in paypal (and need to be spent from there...long story). The lens I want is in stock and cheaper than anyone in willing to sell theirs used. Sigh... I just needed to vent that Canon doesn't take paypal. (Sorry for any incoherence.)

Get a paypal credit card and debit from your paypal account. You get 1% cash back too.

This happens to me all the time. In fact, last night I saw someone selling Canon 50D on craigslist at really good price and I couldn't jump on it because I had funds sitting in PP account...

It appears I just ordered a 70-200 2.8 IS II. I have been getting regular notifications of them being in stock, but usually it takes quite a few minutes to get to the computer (or hours), so they are out of stock by the time I check.

I was originally just checking to see what the total price would be, assuming I would have to pay for shipping, but shipping was free, so...click...and I'm out $1800 or so, but should have a nice lens to show for it.

Sigh, I had just convinced myself that the Sigma 70-200 2.8 OS would be "good enough", and I could wait for a new lens until sometime in the summer.

Oh well, it's just money, right?

;)
