Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong - I can't locate the number 2 volume (version) of the 5D3 owners unite thread. Usually, a new thread starts out with a link to the previous volume - not so with this one and a search returns nothing.

https://photography-on-the.net …/showthread.php?t=1210487

much easier to find threads using Google, btw - took me 1 second to find it.

=Cap'n Fishy;15915383]Aye, tell me about it. Had a gig at Coldingham Loch yesterday, set on top of sea cliffs in East Lothian. I was there to shoot a party of Americans, over here on holiday and having a day fishing...

I added a new word to their vocabulary... dreich!

They were great though, I have to say - totally not prepared for spending a day out on the water in 7C, a biting south east wind, rain, low cloud... took it all in their stride. They were not fishers, but we managed to get them to catch a few.

Here's a couple of shots after I wrung every ounce of contrast out of them in ACR 7.

Conditions were a bit better, earlier in the day...

Brilliant stuff. And good job on the dreich :D

Question....Can I program the joystick,( multi direction switch thingy) to move my selected focus point without pressing the button next to the * first? With my 1DsmkIII I can just be looking through the viewfinder and switch my AF point by toggling up down left or right, but I don't have to press the AF point button first.(The button next to the * on the far right)
