Yep, in the CLP thread

For anyone who is unfamiliar with the Canon Loyalty Program; (how it works, what's eligible, trade-in value, products, pricing, etc.) - most of the answers can be found here: https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=948785

Is it available as a refurb yet? If it is deduct 20% or perhaps only 15% since it is FF like the 5D3.

I don't know but I have been eyeing the 6D and it's funny how it is getting so much cheaper lately I should just be saving the money saved and going for more glass but now the 5D III is to the price of what i was originally debating on spending the money on a 6D originally.

AF and much improved video quality pushed me over the line to the mkIII.

Watching the prices drop after release on the 5D3 and then the 6D have made me think of wating at least six-nine months after the 7D MkII is released (if ever) to buy one.

So what the cheapest with taxes? $2379 without taxes doesn't look nice to me.

Edited:- I see it went up $100. Na I will get brand new one when next kit lens combo sale comes up.

How did you find your "shutter clicks"? Does it have the latest firmware?

6 clicks. Yes please.

However...canon don't seem very adept at handling overnight orders....5 calls later and one day late my product came in. My friend ha her order cancelled because they had a bad email. They never called to tell her. She finally has product that will be released Monday.

Very happy with the item though. I paid $2899 for mine new via beach, $2369 this way...not too bad.

I used gphoto2 to find out how many clicks. But I am a computer programmer, and love working with Linux.

It did not come with the latest firmware. I will be updating that tonight.
