So Hunts finally got back to me today (dropped the camera off April 18th) about my 1D Mark II. They said that the repair facility just got back to them and had a delay in ordering my parts because they didn't have them in stock. Furthermore they said I need a new low pass filter because the shot shutter assembly damaged it. I call BS. I've read that it's possible for that to happen but I didn't see any damage in there before I sent it out. I feel like they would have also noticed that before they went and ordered parts for the camera. I forget how much more they wanted but it was up near $200 I think. I told hunts to have them just send me the camera back, I'm not having them repair it now. It's not worth the money at this point.
