Hello all,

I have been working so much I feel like I've missed most of the spring. I haven't picked up my camera for a couple of months before I snuck out for a couple of hours to shoot these today.

I was trying to emulate a photographer I've been following on Flickr. His name is Josh Kulla (http://www.flickr.com …/sets/72157630771283638/) (external link). I need to lengthen my exposures more to match the smoothness of his water. Next time.

Hope you like them,
Matt

I like the shots, you are right about needing a longer exposure time, the water would have looked much better. Maybe next time you go the water will be a little cleaner, looks kinda grungy on the falls. It's the same around here this time of year, with the spring run off..

Get acquainted with the hypnotizing natural phenomenon of waterfalls in Arkansas graciously provided by Mother Nature herself. Some of the most striking Arkansas waterfalls can be found in the Ozark Mountains and Ouachita Mountain ranges, which cover approximately two-thirds of The Natural State.

I'v been to Doene's falls a couple of times as it is fairly local to me I"m glad that you hiked down th falls for a better vantage point, because of the stoop sides of the gorge it is hard to gat a good vantage point. I like #2 did you shoot any with the stone bridge in it?

Steve,

the stone bridge is just at the top of the frame in the second pic.

Here's one more with the bridge a bit more visible. A little strategic tree trimming would make for a much more picturesque view!

Sorry I didn't see the Bridge in your photo. This is one that I took a little further downstream
