pretty scenery, but the pic is not compelling. She seems a bit unnatural standing in the elevated flower bed also. No real life to the photo...she is just standing there. Her face could use some fill light as well. Looks as if the ambient lighting was pretty nice. Would have been a nice day and setting for some portraits of her. Beautiful girl...help her with some ideas about posing, etc.

Ok thanks guys. I have plenty of portraits of her from today. This one was to specifically try out the Brenizer method.

You are too far away from her for the Brenizer method to really work in this shot. I think the pathway right behind her would have been a much better candidate for a Brenizer shot.

More her, less stuff. The Brenizer effect doesnt show its full result when you are back far enough to include that much foreground.
