What size mat board?

I have 8 x 12 prints and im just wondering what size matt board would you mount an 8 x 12 on?


Canon 60D - 24-70mm 2.8 L II - 70-200mm 2.8 L IS II - Speedlight 600 ex-rt - Broncolor Move 1200L pack + A2L pack + MobiLED flash head

Do you want a standard size? If so go 11X14. I would highly recommend at white 4 ply museum board for both the mat and the board you mount the print to.

yeah i want to go a standard size but i was thinking of a bigger hangover like 14 x 18 or
16 x 20. Thanks for that, will definitely get a 4 ply museum board!
